Vidiots is thrilled to welcome Jason Patric for a special 35mm screening of his sizzling hot neo-noir After Dark, My Sweet to celebrate the life and legacy of filmmaker James Foley, featuring a special introduction and hosted by Vidiots Founding Member Alex Winter and a post-screening conversation with Patric moderated by writer/film critic Travis Woods!

Sex, crime, and mental illness collide in this steamy and nuanced neo-noir adapted from Jim Thompson’s scorching novel. Kid Collie (Jason Patric) is an ex-boxer on the run from a mental hospital when he runs into the seductive widow Fay (Rachel Ward) who takes him on to work at her estate and into her bed. When they are joined by the dangerous Uncle Bud (Bruce Dern), they concoct a kidnap and ransom plan that drags them all into misery and murder. Watch out and don’t get burned in this fiery car wreck of a romance as it singes the big screen from Jason Patric’s personal 35mm print!
