Event Rentals

As a cinema and event space operating for the general public and our Annual Members seven-days-a-week, Vidiots has limited availability for private events. When possible, we offer our historic Eagle Theatre (271 seats with a spacious lobby and beer, wine, and concessions),  intimate MUBI Microcinema (36 seats), or our full venue for private rentals. The Eagle operates with Christie 4K DCP, 35mm, and 16mm film projection, and 7.1 surround sound. The Microcinema features 2K Christie projection and 5.1 surround sound. In addition, the Eagle is equipped with Dolby Accessibility Solution captioning and hearing assist devices, available for compatible titles. 

Please note:

• Vidiots is unable to accommodate requests for four-walling. Requests to four-wall our cinemas will not be responded to.
• As a 501(c)(3) non-profit ourselves, receiving many worthy requests, we are not positioned to publicly host fundraisers for outside organizations or causes. The venue may be rented for such events. 
• Venue rental rates for the Microcinema start at $700. Venue rental rates for the Eagle Theatre start at $5,000.
• Registered, mission-aligned 501(c)(3) non-profits may be eligible for a 25% non-profit discount. 
• The Eagle Theatre typically requires 6 to 8 weeks advance booking.
• The MUBI Microcinema typically requires 4 to 6 weeks advance booking.
• Last minute venue requests are typically not possible.
