Vidiots remembers one of the most groundbreaking and visionary artists of all time, the hugely inspired, inspirational, and influential maestro David Lynch. A man that virtually created the Midnight Movie, changed the face of cinema and television forever, and brought art films to the mainstream, Lynch was a powerful force of creativity and magic, and his passing is a loss so immense it reverberates in every part of our collective subconscious that he touched with his unending gifts.

Ill-fated lovers Sailor and Lula (Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern) hit the road to escape a hit man and end up in an absurdly nightmarish landscape in David Lynch’s dark romantic fairy tale that earned the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1990.  A violent, erotic, and comedic take on the road movie, this high-octane adventure features an incredible cast, distinctly Lynchian iconography, and (as always) a score by the legendary Angelo Badalamenti. Based on the outrageously enjoyable novel by Barry Gifford.
