Grab the remote and turn the channel to UHF, the one film to properly showcase the idiotic brilliance of Weird Al, and one of the strangest comedies of the 1980s (which is saying a lot for the 80s!) When his uncle hands George Newman (Weird Al) the keys to his flailing UHF (look it up youngsters!) station, George starts to nix the reruns and start making ridiculous and subversive content that finally brings in an audience. But a rival TV executive isn’t taking the success well and vows to bring down Newman and all his new programming. It’s goofy, it’s stupid, it’s beyond hilarious, it’s everything you would expect from a Weird Al movie and so much more!
