Co-Presented by Pasadena Playhouse on the occasion of their run of Cyrano de Bergerac

In this modern take on the classic play Cyrano de Bergerac, Steve Martin plays C. D. Bales – the witty, intelligent, and brave fire chief of a small Pacific Northwest town who, due to the size of his enormous nose, declines to pursue the girl of his dreams, the beautiful and intelligent astronomist Roxanne Kowalski. Instead, he sends in a handsome young himbo as his avatar – secretly supplying him with the words to win her heart. Steve Martin (who also wrote the screenplay) is at his self-effacing best in this delightfully duplicitous comedy co-starring Daryl Hannah and our lost love the iconic Shelley Duvall.

And go see Cyrano de Bergerac at Pasadena Playhouse – running from September 4th- September 29th.
