Stick it to the principal in this camptastic punk rock musical treat with The Ramones! A send-off to the 1950s teens vs grownups trope, Allan Arkush and Joe Dante’s cult classic is a super silly and often surreal flame-thrower of punk rock energy as well as goofy gaffs. Riff Randall (Scream Queen PJ Soles) is not your average teeny-bopper – this little punkette is obsessed with The Ramones and won’t stop until they perform at her high school. But her stern autocratic principal Ms. Togar (Warhol superstar and B-movie Queen Mary Woronov) isn’t about to let her school be infected by subversive music, and the two have a battle of wills leading up to the High School concert of every punk’s dreams.
