Swashbuckling adventure and unforgettable characters make the story of Robin Hood an all-time favorite. The animal kingdom serves up a feast of bowmanship, swordplay, and daring deeds in Disney’s classic version of this timeless medieval tale. England is at war and ruled by a phony king! Greedy Prince John and his slithering sidekick, Sir Hiss, are taxing Nottingham’s residents to the limit. But roguish Robin Hood, along with his trusted companion Little John and his devoted band of merry men, hatch one exciting adventure after another to outfox the prince. Robin won’t rest until he wins the hand of fair Maid Marian and King Richard is restored to the throne! Superb storytelling, wonderful animation, and sensational songs make Robin Hood a magical movie for kids of all ages!

Humanitas will be hosting at Vidiots a stuffed animal adoption day for fire-impacted kids who have been displaced by the LA fires before the screening of Robin Hood on Tues Jan 28 from 1-3 PM, thanks to a generous donation from Douglas Toys. Reserve your stuffies by visiting their website.

*Stuffies are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.*

Humanitas is going out to families of writers and the greater entertainment industry community, but they welcome all families who have been impacted by the fires. After the event, Humanitas will donate any remaining stuffed animals to those in need of some comfort through one of the many agencies doing this work.

Humanitas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that honors and empowers film and television writers whose work explores the human condition in a nuanced, meaningful way through its annual awards, fellowships, and public programs. Learn more at humanitasprize.org.”
