SLY LIVES! is an intimate, electric, and unflinching documentary chronicling the rise, reign, and fadeout of musical visionary Sly Stone while shedding light on the unseen burden that comes with success for Black artists in America. Featuring powerful appearances from Andre 3000, D’Angelo, Chaka Khan, Q-Tip, Nile Rodgers, George Clinton, and more — alongside deeply personal insights from Sly’s bandmates and family — SLY LIVES! is a cinematic tribute to a revolutionary artist and the truth behind the music.
