Mike Judge – creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill made his live-action feature debut with this highly relatable, overly quotable, and endlessly hilarious view of soul-crushing employment. A depressed corporate drone tries hypnotherapy, only to find himself in a perpetual state of devil-may-care bliss that prompts him to start living by his own rules, and hatch a hapless attempt to embezzle money from his soul-killing employers, all while he tries to woo the nihilistic waitress at the nearby corporate-kitsch restaurant. Facts: there are few scenes more satisfying in film than watching the workers in Office Space go to town destroying a copier with a baseball bat. So put on at least 15 pieces of flair, don’t forget your red stapler, and get ready to cackle, howl and cheer for this corporate cult classic!
