Russell Walker (Blair Underwood in his first feature), is launching a new hip-hop label, featuring a roster of talent he’s carefully cultivated, but Walker’s bank accounts are running low, and as he struggles to keep Krush Groove running, new groups, and competition, emerge daily on New York City’s thriving hip-hop scene.
