Based on Nora Ephron’s semi-autobiographical novel, Heartburn is a sly and biting story of the ups and downs of love with an absurdly talented cast and a soundtrack from the iconic Joni Mitchell. Rachel is a food writer at a New York magazine who meets Washington columnist Mark at a wedding and ends up falling in love with him despite her reservations about marriage. After settling in to their “happily ever after,” Rachel discovers Mark’s affair as she is expecting their second child and must grapple with the future she never expected.
