A fair is a veritable smorgasbord, orgasbord, orgasbord! Wilbur the pig is scared of the end of the season, because he knows that come that time, he will end up on the dinner table. After befriending an exceptionally intelligent spider named Charlotte, the two (with the help of a gluttonous rat played by comedic legend Paul Lynde) hatch a plan to bring fame, recognition, and security to the pig pen by writing glowing descriptions of the little porker in the spider’s web. A beloved story of friendship and sacrifice, this is one of the most heart-warming animated films of the 1970s.
