Vidiots is thrilled to welcome Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory for a special evening of conversation and film shorts.
Director Susu Laroche presents a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory’s album and the band’s origin in this short documentary. The recording took place at Eurythmics’ former studio, The Church in London, and was a collaborative effort between band members and producer Marta Salogni. Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory is comprised of Sharon Van Etten (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Jorge Balbi (Drums, Machines), Devra Hoff (Bass, Vocals) and Teeny Lieberson (Synth, Piano, Guitar, Vocals).
The documentary will be followed by a screening of live footage of the band performing in the Church – filmed during their session – and then a brief conversation with Sharon Van Etten and drummer, Jorge Balbi. After a brief intermission, an influential film selected by Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, will be screened.
