Since 2018, Adult Swim SMALLS has been commissioning original short films from talented animators, comedians and oddballs from all over the world. Tonight, we focus on our LA-based creator community with a look back at some classics, and also a look forward to some upcoming, never-before-seen animations.
On 1/1/11, Off The Air premiered in the dead of the night on Adult Swim, and it continues to freak people out to this day. Now in its 15th season, the show remains a surreal mash-up of animation, music video and experimental film that both reflects and distorts this modern life. Tonight, we’ll be sharing some of our recent guest-curated episodes.
Doors at 6 pm, Screening at 7 pm, Q+A to follow with many creators in attendance.
