Let’s go storm-chasing, Vidiots! Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton are a bitterly divorced couple and a pair of determined climatologists out for the adventure of a lifetime in storm country as a record-breaking number of tornados threatens the lives and livelihoods of the Oklahomans in their wake. This unprecedented storm season is the perfect time to risk their lives and attempt to release “Dorothy,” a groundbreaking instrument for storm tracking, and maybe even the perfect setting to rekindle their relationship. More fun than an airborne cow, with the perfect delirious blend of thrills and schmaltz, this is one high-flying adventure that really gets off the ground — and stays there!
