Vidiots Foundation and KCRW invite you to join us for a “Live in Conversation” and Q&A with David Mamet and Elvis Mitchell on Saturday, June 7th at Vidiots Foundation.

This fundraiser will benefit Vidiots Foundation whose mission is to “preserve the human experience of browsing, researching and selecting films in a community setting.”Help protect over 50,000 films, including rare, classic and independent titles. Help promote film through free events bringing together filmmakers and film lovers.Pulitzer Prize winning writer and director David Mamet is considered by many to be America’s greatest living playwright, with Tony and Oscar nominations for Glengarry Glen Ross and Wag the Dog respectively. He is currently directing Blackbird with Cate Blanchett and Catherine Keener.Elvis Mitchell has been commenting on film since the nineties with stints at the LA Weekly and The New York Times. He is also the curator of LACMA’s film series, Film Independent at LACMA.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Event begins at 7:30 p.m.
Parking is available at 1821 Main St. and 333 Civic Center Dr.
