The debut feature written and directed by Rob Meyer (Aquarium, Plastic Migration), A Birder’s Guide to Everything was an official selection of the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival and won Best Independent Feature at the Cleveland International Film Festival. It stars Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, Let Me In), Alex Wolff (The Sitter), James Le Gros (Point Break, Justified), Katie Chang (The Bling Ring), and Oscar-Winner Ben Kingsley (Gandhi).

David Portnoy (Smit-McPhee), a 15-year-old birding fanatic, thinks that he’s made the discovery of a lifetime. So, on the eve of his father’s remarriage, he escapes on an epic road trip with his best friends to solidify their place in birding history.
